We’re delighted to share that our education space at Sacrewell has received a fantastic upgrade, thanks to the generous support of the Alan Boswell Group Charitable Trust.

The Trust kindly provided funding for new tables and chairs for our education classroom, replacing furniture that had reached the end of its usable life and helping us create a more comfortable, practical and welcoming space for everyone who learns with us.
Each year, around 3,500 school pupils visit Sacrewell, taking part in hands-on educational experiences designed to help children discover more about food, farming and the countryside.
Our education workshops combine learning in the classroom with experiences around the farm. From exploring our historic watermill and discovering how wheat becomes flour, to making and baking their own scones, pupils have the opportunity to learn by getting involved.
The new tables and chairs will be used by thousands of children each year, as well as community groups and others using our education space, and will make a real difference to the environment in which we deliver these activities.

As a charity, support like this is incredibly valuable to us and helps us continue to provide engaging and inspiring learning experiences for our local community.
A huge thank you to the Alan Boswell Group Charitable Trust for their generous support.
