You can sample a rural skill with our resident Blacksmith at Sacrewell for just £20! This allows a 30 minute taster session to be booked. You can then add a standard day admission to your taster session so you can explore, experience and enjoy Sacrewell for the day.
Make a simple coathook, bottle opener or heart pendant in this half hour session, which is recommended for absolute beginners. We’re sure you’ll learn something new and enjoy the chance to make something truly unique, as well as helping to keep this traditional skill alive.
What is included?
- all materials needed to create your own coat hook, bottle opener or simple heart
- instructions, advice and assistance from experienced tutor Dave
- use of personal protection equipment (goggles, gloves and an apron)
This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 12 or above. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult with standard day admission ticket or an annual pass.
