Blacksmith Workshops

Hot metal, a roaring fire and an anvil. This heritage craft would once have been found in every village but is now a rare sight. We’re very fortunate at Sacrewell to be able to offer one-to-one lessons (or one-to-two, depending on the workshop, if you wish to work with a friend or relative) with our resident blacksmith, Lance.

What’s included in a blacksmith workshop?

  • All the tools and material you need to create your own piece of metalwork
  • Instructions, advice and assistance from our blacksmith Lance
  • Use of personal protection equipment (goggles, gloves and an apron)

What’s Not included?

  • Sacrewell admission – please purchase a day admission ticket if you’d like to explore the farm before or after your course. If you’d just like to do the blacksmithing course an admission ticket is not required
  • Spectators are welcome to join you and will be required to purchase a day admission ticket.

If you have a blacksmithing workshop booked, please contact us for further details.

Brilliant time. We will be back.
