Celebrate harvest time at Sacrewell during our autumn and winter visits. Children can learn about seasonal food, how to support wildlife and help look after our farm animals in winter.

| What’s Growing in the Garden | Sept-Feb | Hunt for fruit and vegetables growing in the garden and learn about seasonal food. Plant some edible plant seeds to grow and harvest at school. |
| Seasonal Fruit and Vegetable Tasting | Sept-Feb | Discover fresh vegetables in the kitchen garden and turn them into tasty food to eat. Make either an autumn salad or warming winter soup to have with your packed lunch. |
| Butter Making | Sept-Feb | Learn about milk, where it comes from and what we use it for. Make fresh butter to taste on crackers and meet farm animals commonly used in the UK dairy industry. |
| Fantastic Flour | Sept-Feb | Investigate the journey of wheat by milling grain with our electric mini-mill before preparing and baking scones in our portable ovens. Eat them at Sacrewell or take home for later. |
| Historic Mill Tour (pairs well with Fantastic Flour) | Sept-Feb | Explore our Victorian watermill and discover the history of farming, food production and life before electricity. |
| Animal Care In Winter | Sept-Feb | Meet our friendly farm animals and learn how they adapt themselves to colder weather. Help look after them by making and feeding them tasty, healthy treats. |
| Wildlife and their Habitats | Sept-Feb | Come on a wildlife safari, discover wild creatures and explore habitats and food webs. Finish by making a Habitat Helper to take back to school to attract and support wildlife through the winter. |
