Courses with Nene Coppicing and Crafts
Below are workshops that we have organised in the past or, that we have a planned date for. If you are interested in any of the workshops please contact nenecoppicingandcrafts@gmail.com. We need a minimum number of participants to run a workshop so why not see if your friends/family are interested.
The workshops will be outdoors in good weather and indoors but unheated if the weather is not kind to us. For whole day courses please bring some lunch and a drink or you can visit the onsite Origin 8 café.
Over winter we will be harvesting the willow and this is the perfect time to make living willow sculptures. We will be offering half and whole day workshops at Sacrewell Farm in February 2023. Dates will be confirmed depending on demand.
Make this lovely 32 rod 4 foot plus willow Harlequin tree in a morning.
All materials and tuition will be provided;
32 x 4’ green willow rods

Or be a bit more adventurous and make this 60 rod 5 foot plus willow Harlequin tree in a day.
All materials and tuition will be provided
60 x 5’ green willow rods
Cost £75
Please note that the ‘trees’ are woven whilst in a pot but will need to be transferred to your garden as soon as possible and watered often in the first couple of years. If you wish to keep the ‘tree’ in a pot there is a greater likelihood that some rods will die.
