Are you looking for a new challenge in 2024? Do you want to meet new people? Get outdoors more? Be active and help a local charitable trust? Then why not volunteer at Sacrewell…
We are looking for volunteers across a range of departments. We need volunteers who can commit time regularly and frequently.
We have various projects and activities that volunteers can get involved in, but we’re also open to your thoughts and ideas on how your skills might best be used. (Please bear in mind volunteering opportunities to work with our animals are limited).
Volunteer tasks include:
- gardening
- painting
- maintenance
- dry stone walling
- restoration
- tractor driving
- maintenance checks
- planting
- decorating
- meeting and speaking to visitors
- delivering talks to visitors about our animals or our heritage buildings
- demonstrating rural crafts
- co-ordinating volunteers
- and much much more
Do come along and see us on Tuesday 23rd January at 1pm or Thursday 25th January at 10am to find out more.
There won’t be any obligation to sign up to volunteering, but if you are still interested after taking a look around, we’ll ask you to complete a short application form.
Apologies but children are not eligible to volunteer at Sacrewell. Volunteering roles are for ages 18+ and children cannot attend our volunteering open event, sorry for any inconvenience.
