Use seasonal foliage from the garden and hedgerow to create a stunning woven hanging, which can be displayed either indoors or outdoors. Foliage and all other materials and tools will be provided, but participants may wish to bring some of their own flowers/foliage to include in their work.
As well as weaving the materials you will learn to use a shave horse and draw knife to prepare the frame.
Once you have completed your hanging you can always add interesting flowers, berries and greenery throughout the year.
The approximate size of the finished item is 1m 30cm x 1m 20cm, although you may wish to make yours thinner and longer.
Our Woven Hanging Screen workshop will run from 10:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday 13th June. There are just 5 spaces available on this small group course, which costs £70 per person.
