Take inspiration from the changing seasons and learn some mindfulness practices to take you through winter and into spring. Barbara Reid, a professional teacher of Mindfulness programmes for the past 10 years, will be your guide. Using ideas from nature, writings about the seasons, and simple practices, we’ll discover what it means to be mindful in an everyday sense. And we’ll also gather together a storehouse of practical tips and exercises that can both help us savour our moments and stay balanced when times are bumpy.
Our Everyday Mindfulness workshop will run on Sunday 27th January from 10:00am till 1:00pm and will cost £40 per person.
- A half day of tuition and practice with Barbara
- Supporting learning materials that you can take away with you
- A guided mindful walk through the farm
- Tea and coffee
- Admission to Sacrewell for the day for the ticketholder
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as people who have learned mindfulness before. It is suitable for anyone aged 16 or over. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
This workshop includes a mindful walk around the farm that will be taken at a slow pace but may last up to one hour. Please contact us if you would like to participate in the workshop and have questions about accessing the mindful walk activity.
