The tarpaulin over the mill has intrigued visitors, staff and volunteers at Sacrewell for months, and now, for the first time, we can reveal what has been going on underneath.
The results are visible.
As we’ve previously reported, Messenger Construction has used expert Collyweston slaters to repair the roof.
In some cases all it needed was a good clean, and in others the tiles have been removed and cleaned, the rafters repaired and the tiles replaced.
